Common questions
How long should a password be?
16 characters is enough for most accounts. You can go up to 64 when you need a longer one. This page does not create passwords shorter than 8 characters.
Can I use only numbers or only letters?
Yes. Uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols can be turned on or off, but at least one set must stay on. Symbols are common punctuation, without spaces, quotes, or backslashes, so the password is easier to paste into a form.
Is the password uploaded or saved?
No. Generation runs in your browser. No account is required, and the password is not sent or stored on a server. Copy only places it on your clipboard.
