Terms of Service

Using Txtal

Txtal provides text utilities, AI-assisted processing tools, and related information. You may use the site for lawful, personal, educational, or business purposes, provided that your use does not interfere with the site or harm other people.

No account or guaranteed availability

Most tools do not require an account. The site is provided on an evolving basis, and features may change, be limited, or be unavailable from time to time. We do not promise that every tool will always be available or suitable for a particular purpose.

Your content

You are responsible for the text and other content you enter into the site, and for ensuring that you have the right to use it. Tools that process content in your browser are intended to keep that content on your device. AI-assisted tools send submitted content to the Txtal server and a configured third-party AI provider, so you must not submit content that you are not allowed to share with those services.

By submitting content to an AI-assisted tool, you ask Txtal to process it for that request and to transmit the necessary normalized content to the configured provider. You retain responsibility for the content, its legality, and any required notices or permissions.

AI output and third-party services

AI-generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You must review and verify the result before relying on it, publishing it, or using it in a legal, financial, security, or other consequential context. Txtal does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, availability, or suitability of AI output.

AI-assisted tools depend on third-party AI providers. Their terms, privacy policies, availability, retention practices, and processing rules may also apply to your use of those tools.

Limits and availability

The HTML to Markdown tool has a limit of five processing requests per IP address per day. We may reject requests that exceed this limit or that exceed the tool's input and processing limits. We may also temporarily disable or change a tool when required for maintenance, security, cost control, or provider availability.

Acceptable use

Do not use Txtal to break the law, attack or disrupt systems, infringe rights, distribute harmful content, submit content without permission, abuse third-party AI services, or attempt to bypass reasonable technical protections or usage limits.

Changes

We may update these terms when the site or its features change. The current version published on this page applies to future use of Txtal.
